Alma Doepel restoration

NOW AND ONGOING

A tall ship restoration to develop Victoria’s youth through the process of sail training. Built in 1903, from 1976 to 1999 the Alma Doepel provided leadership, teamwork and personal development experiences for kids from all walks of life. Once restored, many kids today will get to do the same.

EduCaring Africa

NOW AND ONGOING

Begun in Malawi in 2012 to build a secondary school, Educating Africa is currently building a new medical clinic amongst other projects in Malawi and Uganda.

Fun, fraternising and fundraising with food

Food-based fund raising events where Rotarians may invite non-Rotary friends and colleagues.

A software platform that enables communities to collaborate more easily and more effectively with simple tools that drive action and create change.

Garden Design Fest

REGIONAL 10–11 NOVEMBER 2018

A globally recognised open-garden event, drawing tourists from around the world to visit the garden displays – two weekends in November featuring the rare opening to the public of Australia’s best-designed gardens.

TAL Tree of Joy

SEPTEMBER – NOVEMBER

We place a Christmas tree in the TAL Life Ltd office and selected charity groups hang envelopes on the tree with the details of needy children in the area. Staff and customers choose which child to support by buying a gift for that child and that gift is delivered to the family for Christmas.

Bunnings sausage sizzles

ONGOING

Flip some sausages and represent at the community coalface with a group of dedicated Rotarians undertaking effective community fundraising. Various locations.

Royal Talbot Sensory Garden maintenance

APRIL

A day in the sunshine reconstructing part of the gardens of Royal Talbot Rehab Centre.

White Night onsite support

On site support for the City of Melbourne White Night festival  - an amazing night in the City.
